Donna Karan’s DKNY serves to join Yankees stadium. Donna Karan’s DKNY Yankees arrangement was announced this week, a marketing push of the known label into a famed ballpark.
It is a brilliant idea or a tacky concept?
Mark Weber, chairman and CEO of DKNY, Inc. as well as parent company LVMH, tells WWD the things of the Donna Karan Yankees deal:
“Donna Karan created DKNY to capture the spirit of New York and the everybody who reside here, together with the a large amount of successful baseball team in history: the Yankees. This unique sponsorship allows DKNY a direct way to reach the consumer and also gives huge visibility amidst the loyal, passionate audience the millions of fans who visit Yankee Stadium every year, and the many millions more who look Yankees games on television.”
DNKY will reportedly sponsor the Dugout Lounge. Beyond that, details are not clear.
