CM Punk, the famous WWE star, has now apologized for his anti gay slur. This is what happened that Punk got caught on camera while he was talking anti-gay slur in the midst of the row with a wrestling fan. At Adelaide, while the live event was going on, CM Punk whose real name is Phillip Jack Brooks indulged in a heated argument with two men.
Punk accused the men behaving effeminately and then referred to one of the guy as ‘homo’.
The footage of the incident got uploaded on the YouTube and it is getting attracted by the hundreds of the viewers.
The spokesperson of WWE told TMZ, “WWE does not condone this type of language or bias and we reinforce that with our talent who are independent contractors.”
Later the former World Champion showed his regret on the comments he made.
He came on twitter and tweeted, “I’m glad TMZ posted that video because everybody needs to be held accountable for their bulls**t, me included. What I said was bulls**t… I’m embarrassed. I own up to being a total douche in this situation and I offer a sincere apology to anybody I hurt with careless words.”
