Director Ron Howard wins a lifetime achievement award

Director Ron Howard wins a lifetime achievement award at previous weekend in Chicago International Film Festival.

According to reports. The Apollo 13 helmer was honored for the list of award-winning films on Saturday at Chicagos Museum of Science and Industry.

Howard credited his success to making different types of pictures.

Oscar winner said, “I try to build all sorts of different movies and I am a big film lover,”

He alos said: As an actor I was sort of limited in the situations that I could easily do, but as a director it is been heard sort of unlimited.

I have continued to make a dramas and fantasies or comedies and thrillers.

Howard is working on a comedy film with Vince Vaughn in Chicago.
