KOVANCILAR, Turkey: – A burly earthquake slayed 41 villagers in eastern Turkey premature on Monday, local administrators said, as saviors worked to free survivors attentive below the rubble.

Turkey is criss-crossed with faultiness and regularly suffers earthquakes. A big earthquake measuring 7.4 killed some 18,000 people in August 1999.
