One of the Iranian naval commander detailed media on Sunday that two long range missiles are to test by Iran on Monday. Iran is currently going through the naval exercises phase. This test has been planned for the last day of these currently in process exercises i.e. Monday. These exercises are being carried out in Gulf by Iranian Navy Forces. Iran started these exercises following its threat regarding oil shipments.

Iran recently had issued a warning of banning oil shipments that are carried through Strait of Hormuz. The names of these two long range missiles are being described as Nour and Qader. The naval commander confirmed that these two missiles will be tested any time today during the drill. This statement was given by Mahmoud Mousavi, deputy navy commander of Iran Navy, while talking to state TV.

Iran is currently in the process of 10-day exercise of its navy forces. This exercise started in a tensed and crucial time when Iran is facing increased tension over nuclear program with Western powers. Mousavi further detailed the state TV that a mid-range missile has been successfully tested on Sunday which is a surface-to-air missile actually.

Tehran recently had threatened the Western powers that oil shipments could be stopped passing through Strait of Hormuz only if it nuclear ambitions were tried to target. Previously European Union had issued a statement that a ban on Iran is being considered due to its nuclear ambitions. This ban will be placed over Iranian crude, sources said. It has been confirmed by U.S. Fifth Fleet that any disruption will be seriously tackled in vital oil shipping route.

This head-on crash actually happened on early in the morning on Friday in the east Texas area, authorities said. It looks like the more deaths happened only because both of these cars that crashed got exploded after collision, said by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Probably some of them could be saved if the cars would not explode.

The Texas Department of Public Safety further detailed about this head-on collision that it exactly happened at around 150 miles away from Dallas in Annona on Friday morning. Overall 8 deaths have been confirmed so far. A car, which was coming from California, was carrying four passengers and it was heading on U.S. 82 towards east.

Somehow this car crossed the center lane (probably got out of control) and collided into a car. There was a woman along with three children in the car which was coming from California, the department said. All these four died at the scene and were identified by the department as Eric (10-month-old), Saul Jr. (5-year-old), Erica (8-year-old) and Sonya de la Torre (their 29-year-old mother).

Actress Donna Douglas, who actually popularity for “The Beverly Hillbillies” show which was aired during 1960s, has settled her lawsuit over a Barbie doll, sources said. It is being said about this lawsuit that a local company Mattel had created a Barbie doll based on Elly May Clampett, the character name of Donna Douglas in “The Beverly Hillbillies” show, without her consent.

The toy company faced a lawsuit by now 78-year-old actress in May, 2011. Donna also included CBS Corporation in her lawsuit and a total of $75,000 were sought by this actress in damages, sources said. It was alleged by the actress in her lawsuit that the toy company was “engaging in unauthorized use” of the character name she played in 1960s’ television show.

The toy company used her image and likeness along with her character name just to sell and promote the Barbie doll they made, Donna stated in her lawsuit. The most recent attorneys’ papers in this lawsuit claimed on Thursday morning that the lawsuit has been settled between the parties and is now over. But attorneys did not reveal the financial terms of this settlement.

The character of Elly May Clampett had been played by Donna Douglas in “The Beverly Hillbillies” show which was aired between 1962 and 1971. It was a CBS television production. It was a show about a family that ditched their backwoods home after oil struck in California. Philip Shaheen denied commenting on the settlement details. He was representing Douglas in this lawsuit.

The city of Yangon in Myanmar faced a fearful situation early Thursday when the local residents heard an explosion in this area. Initial updates about this Myanmar explosion are claiming that more or less 20 people have lost their lives in this blast that left around 100 injures people as well. The rescue work is in process and injured people are being rushed to hospitals, reported by state-run television MR TV in Myanmar.

This blast hit the mainly residential area in Yangon which is called Mingalar Taung Nyunt. This residential area is very close to central Yangon (hardly 15 minute drive). Yangon is recognized as the former capital of the country. The blast struck a warehouse in its compound. This warehouse was under government use which was rented often to private businesses.

A local police official talked on this blast matter and said that it is pretty clear that the bomb was not a man-made. He further added that it would be too early to narrate the exact cause behind this saddest explosion incident. He denied exposing his identity obviously because the police department didn’t authorize him to speak on this issue with media.

The police official further added that investigations have been started but can’t be said anything conclusively about this blast. It was truly a loud noise and very big explosion, which resulted in making run-away decision to surrounding area’s resident, said by Win Tun, a neighbor to the affected warehouse. People had no idea and some of them ran towards wrong way (exactly in the blast direction), she said.

It is being expected about Google+ user base that it may cross well over 400 million users until the service reaches to end of year 2012. The real answer to the question that how many users are currently using this service?: is only with Google management. And still we can play a guessing game to calculate this figure. Allen wrote in his recent post that the Google+ is seeking to compete Facebook, which currently have around 800 million users. Police confirmed the death of a father and son (belongs to Palermo area) along with two brothers (living in the Bucksport area) on Sunday afternoon. It is being detailed that a snowy Route 3 faced a deadly two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon that claimed 4 precious human lives. It happened in Maine’s area and is being described as deadliest car crash of the year in this area.

Police further detailed about this saddest two-vehicle crash incident that it happened at around 1:30 p.m. when Tyler Manduca (18-year-old boy) who was driving a SUV, could not control over his vehicle on a snowy road and skidded. His SUV stopped after hitting with a car which was being driven by 64-year-old Dennis Sturges (the resident of Palermo). The details were publicly spread by the spokesman of Department of Public Safety Steve McCausland.

Manduca and Sturges killed at the scene along with their passengers i.e. Kyle Manduca (brother of Tyler Manduca 21-year-old boy) and Roy Lucier (father of Dennis Sturges who was 83-year-old). Police further detailed that SUV was being driven too fast by Tyer Manduca which was probably because of bad weather conditions, but there was no sign of alcohol influence in this accident.

Both pairs of men were probably in intention to reach their destinations to attend Christmas events, police said. Authorities said Wednesday that an Arizona State University student was found safe Wednesday noon, who was missing for 10 days. They further added that the student ate candy bar and drunk melted snow as water throughout this missing period to survive. They found this 23-year-old ASU student in east Arizona in a desolate area. The student had nothing but a bag of Snickers candy bar to eat that eventually survived her.

The name of this senior student at ASU is being described as Lauren Elizabeth Weinberg, who was found just before noon in southeastern area of the state called Coconino County. The detail was surfaced by Gerry Blair (sheriff’s spokesman of Coconino County). Weinberg was traced by two employees of the U.S. Forest Service, who were on their way to check gates on forest roads on snowmobiles on Wednesday. They found her at around 45 miles away from Winslow towards southeast.

Weinberg said on this occasion that although she was hungry, wet and was suffering from cold, but she is thankful to be alive. A news release was issued from Flagstaff Medical Center on Wednesday evening containing the message from this 23-year-old ASU senior that she is really thankful to be warm and alive. Later on Thursday morning, Lauren Elizabeth Weinberg got released from the medical center. This senior student of ASU was last seen on December 11 in south Phoenix while leaving her mom’s home. She told authorities that snow didn’t let her move forward and she stuck.

A recent statement from Dr. Elaine James confirmed that Etta James (a well-popular 73-year-old singer in United States) is terribly ill. The doctor is actually no relation to this singer, but he confirmed a local California newspaper that the singer has kidney disease, dementia and leukemia among several other notable illnesses. She is really suffering and rapidly failing health, doctor said.

Etta James has been described by doctor as terminally ill person. The doctor further added that the singer was diagnosed around two weeks ago. There were three specialist doctors in the medical team that participated in checking Etta James, including an internist (belongs to a local hospital) and an oncologist. Both specialists are working with same hospital where the singer used to go for her regular treatments.

The most recent statement from Sametto and Donto (known as two sons of Etta James) was made on Friday to the Reuters. They news agency was told by them that the accuracy of terminally ill diagnosis was not known to them, and doctor spread this news without bringing it to their knowledge.
