In the New York City, the JFK airport was coerced to close since the snowstorm put several inches of snow out there. It is being said that the airport might re-open on Monday at 5:00 a.m. (local time). The reports say that New York City and the East Coast were hit heavily by the snowstorm, which hugely affected the air traveling.

On Sunday, according to reports, total 1400 flights got canceled from various airports including JFK, Newark Liberty and LaGuardia Airports.
The weather specialists have predicted more than 10 to 16 inches of snowfall laced with heavy winds in New York City. And this snow falling will continue till 5 a.m. on Monday. Travelers have to spend at least one night at the airports.
