Gang Starr Guru has died at recently 43 ages of age. The singer had suffering based on cancer for in a year and had a cardiac arrest on March 2, leading to a coma. The New York born MC died yesterday (April 19) according to a statement.
According to MTV.co.uk, Guru had undergone “numerous special treatments under the regulatory of medical specialists” that had failed and he succumbed to the disease. The statement went on to say the current Guru, as far as possible, had administered to keep his illness private but had admitted himself to hospital in the first part of 2010.
Guru had got up with D J Premier in group Gang Starr and had found fame with the duo issuing 6 albums between 1989 and 2003. The group sadly although headed through a bitter split. Guru had gone on to release the “Jazzmataz” albums, teaming up investing in further artists, and had carried on touring with producer Solar.
