Jodie Foster has declared that she is “surprised” Kristen Stewart has continued into an acting career.
Foster, who starred with Stewart in 2002′s Panic Room, told E! Online that she did not think the 20-year-old should go on to become an actress in adulthood.
She explained: “[Kristen is] a great person, and I’m not surprised she’s gone on to do exorbitant things. But I am surprised she is an actress.
“I didn’t believe that is at which she was headed. And that much although her mum said, ‘No, she truly wants to be an actress’, I experienced like, ‘Nah, she will not because she essentially does not have the stereotypical personality’.”
Foster added that Stewart does not want to become a celebrity. She said: “Anybody who has a brain doesn’t [want to be famous]. That tells you how smart Kristen Stewart is.”
