Matt Damon: the days when actors could create mystique are over.
The True Grit actor suggested to Metro which it is much ideal to play out there with the idea of stardom instead.
Damon said: “I think those days of producing mystique around yourself are long gone. It’s sad when you see homeowners endeavoring to do it because it just doesn’t strive any more. So why not have fun amongst it?”
Of life in the spotlight, Damon added: “‘When you beforehand get famous, it’s basically surreal. Everything about the way the globe relates to you changes.
“And now that is died down, I’ve been left only to do the work I look for to do. It’s perfect, I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
