Bill Hunter, the 71 years old actor of Australia, has passed away in Melbourne hospital on Saturday night after fighting battle with cancer. A memorial has now been arranged for the legendary actor on Thursday at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.
As per the director Simon Wincer, who has directed Hunter in the latest flick, ‘The Cup’, told, He was associated really with the renaissance of the Australian film industry from the ’70s right up until the last few months.”
David Field, his close pal and fellow actor uttered that he was an extraordinary actor and had exceptional instinct and intelligence. He further told that he was a profound human being.
Bill was also famous for his characters in Muriel’s Wedding, Gallipoli and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
