Nerina Pallot criticizes makers of X-Factor

It has been reported that Nerina Pallot has made the suggestion that the renowned music show, ‘X-Factor’ really exploits its acts so as to churn out money for Simon Cowell.

Explaining the double standards of the show and the makers behind, the singer-songwriter uttered that the show’s primary focus has to be on the vocalists instead of the program boss.

She went on saying, “I feel that the way The X Factor is run is wrong. You couldn’t have that show without the contestants, but it’s basically a Cowell money-making machine. But what if you’re really into making music but don’t know anyone in London; how would you get into the industry?”

When asked her whether she would have considered the show, Nerina went on adding her views: “Yes. And I would play at the opening of an envelope if there was a guitar or a piano.”

Nerina then criticized the format of the show and the makers’ double standards just to promote Simon Cowell, the program boss.

She said that the show was just for the popularity of Cowell and not for the singers.
