Peter Andre won Celebrity Dad of the Year award

Peter Andre has once again been awarded the title of ‘Celebrity Dad of the Year’. There was a poll arranged by Premier Inn, in which Peter, the Behind Closed Doors singer, got voted by the public and he was announced the winner.

Andre is married to Katie Price and he has a son Junior and daughter Princess from her. He is also the former step father of her disabled son Harvey.

Peter said after winning the title that it feels much great to fetch this award.

He said, “It was an honour to win last year but to still have the public’s support and best wishes is a tremendous feeling. This means a huge amount to me as being a dad is my most important role.”

When asked Premier’s Inn spokesperson Claire Haigh, he added: “We are delighted to announce Peter as the winner of the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad Award for 2011. His attitude towards work, spending quality time with his kids, and his likeability factor has clearly struck a chord with the voters.”

Andre has previously won this title for three times in 2008, 2009 and 2011. He has been winning this title consecutively for last four years.
