Since the snowstorm is playing havoc with all over the US and even the whole of Europe, the residents of the Philadelphia are much curious to know more about Philadelphia weather, which is not good at all.
According to reports, a nasty weather is on way to touch the whole of Philadelphia. N[ad#Google Adsense]early 12 inches of snow has been found in the city and 18 inches around the shores of Philadelphia. There are a few regions, which witnessed several inches of snow.
According to the officials at NWS, the Philadelphia International airport saw around 11.8 inches of snow whereas the Northeast Philadelphia witnessed the 9.8 inches of snow.
The reports say that down the shore, the Cape May got almost 18 inches of snow and Atlantic City got around 17.4 inches respectively.
The officials have announced that the winter storm warning has been cancelled but the snowstorm warning remains there.
In the western suburbs, the storm created a sharp cutoff line.
The Mayor of Philadelphia Michael Nutter has now declared the snow emergency in Philadelphia. He also told that the city governments and the courts would be open and working on Monday.
A number of schools are already closed for the holiday season but private schools, daycares and vocational schools closed on Monday.
